I’m Amy, a Christian wife, mother of six, childbirth educator, and doula with a deep commitment to supporting women and families through pregnancy and birth with honesty, humility, and faith.
My work has been shaped by both professional training and lived experience, including pregnancy loss. Walking through miscarriage and stillbirth deeply changed how I understand pregnancy, motherhood, and faith. It taught me that joy and grief often exist side by side, and that faith does not always come with easy answers. It also taught me what it means to truly need someone in your corner who isn’t there to fix you or rush you through your feelings, but simply to be present with you.
I approach pregnancy and birth education with gentleness, clarity, and respect for both the physical realities of the body and the emotional and spiritual weight many families carry. My work is grounded in a biblical worldview that honors God’s sovereignty while making room for fear, grief, questions, and uncertainty.
I founded Purposely Entrusted Motherhood with the belief that motherhood is a sacred trust, not a performance. Preparation, in my view, is not about control but about presence: being informed, supported, and spiritually grounded as you walk through pregnancy and birth.
In this season, my focus is on faith-centered pregnancy and birth education, with particular care for families navigating pregnancy after loss. I am also pursuing midwifery training, and this educational work reflects both where I am now and the direction I am moving toward.
My hope is that every woman who engages with this space feels seen, respected, and supported. Not rushed, not fixed, not minimized. Just held, as she walks the often complex and beautiful path of motherhood.
